Have
you ever noticed that the youth today would much rather talk to anyone
than their own parents? Peer – to peer mentoring, that is university
students mentoring younger youth, and high school and middle school youth
mentoring elementary – aged youth, is one of the fastest growing areas of
mentoring in America today.
Participants
will learn:
- To compare and contrast
peer-to-peer mentoring with the more traditional forms of adult
mentoring;
- The most effective ways
to screen and train mentors; and
- The potential outcomes
when they are matched with younger mentees.

coordinators
